Our elementary students have a very solid curriculum that will equip them for junior high and beyond.
CURRICULUM -- Elementary
The elementary curriculum is designed to help students develop a strong foundation in language arts and math and an understanding in science, social studies, visual arts, performing arts, and physical education.
Students learn to express themselves, to be attentive listeners, to understand what they read, and to be at home on the computer. They work in an environment marked by encouraging high expectations. Elementary students have specialist teachers for music, art, computer, library and physical education. The Spanish language and Peruvian culture is taught at different levels to meet the needs of each child.
The elementary school provides a variety of activities throughout the year. Children have opportunities to perform in plays and musicals. Art and science fairs involve students from all grades. Parents are encouraged to view and participate in creative displays and experiments, as well as visit classrooms at pre-arranged times.
