Our students and teachers have many opportunitites to work together due to the small class size.
CURRICULUM -- Middle School
The Middle School aims to produce confident and competent learners who are able to communicate effectively. When unsure of the answers to a question, students learn how to independently research for an answer. Students are taught to be creative problem solvers. Middle school pupils are at times encouraged to work as members of a group or a team, sharing responsiblity, success and failure.
The Middle School program has specialist teachers delivering the academic curriculum which includes English, mathematics, science, history, geography, computers, Bible, art, music, pohysical education, drama, yearbook, journalism, and Spanish.
ICSL classrooms normally consist of 14 students or less per teacher. Small class sizes encourage close student-teacher relationships.
